The Innovation

Innovation means new discipline of understand and application of methods from several different areas. There are many condition such as knowledge and attitudes that have direct impact on building innovation competencies. Innovation means create new things, ideas or ways of doing. Innovation is a process which an idea or invention is translated into a service and making improvement by using existing ideas and create something new.

Innovation founds in products, methods, how people find new ways of doing things that have been existed or may not have been existed. When an individual comes up with an idea which has not been explored yet, it is the biggest innovation on earth. Innovation might be something that is improved from previous findings and existence but the greatest innovation is Gutenberg Press which is what we call now as "Printer".










Key elements for an efficient innovation program of study are:

• Critical Discussion (condition) - Learn through criticism,  from others,  and also self-criticism.  This can be done through teamwork activities and presentation where critical debate is encouraged.
• Strategic Focus (knowledge) – Planning the designing process;  planning the activities through several class exercise involving game and student competition; and developed through research,  analytical and creative activities that reflect a general process of innovation.
• Dependence on Methods (knowledge attitude) – Trust in their methods and technique.  Therefore,  the innovative program should focus in research,  analysis and synthesis.
• Human-Centered  Approached (knowledge + attitude) – Success in their innovation is directly associated with the value it brings for people’ lives.  Therefore,  a successful program of study should include technique for accessing people’ needs. 

New sciences have also contributed to technology as in the theoretical preparation for the invention of the steam engine. In the 20th century itself, innovations in semiconductor technology increased the performance and decreased the cost of electronic materials and the devices by factor of a million which is an achievement unparalleled in the history of any technology.


In conclusion, innovation is creating new ideas and ways by developing and improving existing ideas into something different and with new perspective. The new ways of producing it can be existed or even haven't been exist before. 

The Creativity Company - Thinking out of the box?

The Creativity

Creativity means generation of new ideas or new ways. It might not necessary be really new like novelty. But to be novelty, creativity does play its role which is creative thinking. Creativity is a combination of thinking skill, resources and internal motivation. It has ability and power with using imagination and skills.A person doesn't only tends to develop,invent and produce but as well as thinking and imagine plus use the talent to become inventive. 

Creativity thinking is something ability of thinking outside of the box. It must be something which is uncommon among our community. Originality is considered to be a sufficient condition for creativity. In conclusion, creativity is something which should be fresh and original. Creative things can only be produce by creative thinking which is ability of thinking outside of the box. Creativity and Intelligence are almost the same but creativity has more depth than intelligence because intelligence is something common while creativity is something uncommon among the human community. But, to understand the term of creativity, we must have the intelligence.

There are two types of creative thinking. One is C (Big C) and another one is c (small c). There are difference between them. The Big C represent the creative thinking which not everyone could able to think and produce something which is new and uncommon in our daily life when while small c represent creative thinking which everyone able to think and produce something which is new but it is common among the human community when we look at a bigger perspective.

Four types of Creativity:


* Aesthetic Organizers
* Boundary Pusher
- take existing idea an push further
* Inventors
- take existing idea and create new ideas
* Boundary Breakers
- Leonardos and the Copernicuses

Being an Aesthetic Organizers is something which is represent by everyone. Everyone in this world are Aesthetic Organizers. Most of the creative people are Boundary Pusher. They don't think much of new ideas because they just use the same ideas but just kind of slightly different from others. A group of the people can be known as Inventors. They just use the existing ideas but create something new. They produce it in different ways. But being Boundary Breakers is kinda tough and very rare of people are Boundary Breakers they produce something which is very new, beyond and different perspective which they turn out Virtually into Reality.


There are three reasons why people are motivated to be creative:

1. need for novel, varied and complex stimulation
2. need to communicate ideas and values
3. need to solve problems

How do we want to be creative?

Look at artwork in galleries and museums. Read books and magazines. Use your senses and experience stimulates your memory and imagination.

Develop your skills.
- Skills build confidence so work to improve your techniques.

Make creative thinking a part of your daily life.

- Ask question. Vary routines. Do the unexpected. You feel more mentally alert.

Smash creative blocks.
- Change the problem or sneak up on it from a different direction. Try something fresh – a new way with an old theme.

In conclusion, to be creative, we need to be able to view things in new ways and different angle plus perspective. Among other things, you need to be able to generate new possibilities or new alternatives. Tests of creativity measure not only the number of alternatives that people can generate but the uniqueness of those alternatives. The ability to generate alternatives or to see things uniquely does not occur by change; it is linked to other and more fundamental qualities of thinking such as flexibility, tolerance of ambiguity or unpredictability and the enjoyment of things. So, creative leads us to novelty, innovation and last but not least invention.

Novelty means the quality of being new and unusual although it may be said to have an objective dimension (such as abstract art or impression) it essentially exist in the subjective perception of individual. It should be something new that is original and not common. I most likely unpredictable. For an example, a person discover something new but actually it is something common in our life when we look at a bigger perspective. That is not novelty. Novelty is something that has not been seen and has elements of surprise and originality without being predicted and comes so differently with anything exist.

For an example the invention of aeroplane. Those days, people couldn't fly because humans don't have wings 2 fly like a bird. they travel by using animals,cars and ships. They only have land transport and water transport. They don't have air transport. This invention can be classified as novelty because it is very unique and not a common thing. The air transport have been introduced to the human community.

In conclusion, novelty is something original,new and not common. The Presumption of novelty aims The Universal Law of its generation. It explain of how does original works and to be produced. Novelty is important for everyone in this world especially in this new era. We need novelty also to produce new and original ideas and invention.

My Understanding About Creativity

Based on what I have studied in creative studies class, I do understand of what is meant by creativity. In my opinion and understanding of creativity, creativity means creating something new and original which is different from other creations. Everyday, people do often think and imagine spontaneously and it will turn to reality. Their counter factual thinking is viewed as an example of everyday creative process.

Creativity does belongs in right brain. If a person think using left brain, they are more towards intelligence but when a person starts to think using right brain, they are more towards creativity.A high degree of intelligence appears to be a necessary but not sufficient condition for high creativity. This implies that, in a general sample, there will be a positive correlation between creativity and intelligence, but this correlation will not be found if only a sample of the most highly intelligent people are assessed. The blue color represent Frontal lobe. The green represent Temporal lobe. The yellow represent Parietal lobe while the red represent Occipital lobe. The Frontal lobe play the important role of creativity.

Creativity thinking is something ability of thinking outside of the box. Box represent our mind and space. If we keep on thinking in the space, the ideas can be repeated because space is limited. When a thinking is repeated, it doesn't represent creativity because creativity is something original, new and fresh. So, when a person started to think out side of the box, there a plenty of space where new and fresh ideas can be produce. Creativity is a combination of thinking skill, resources and internal motivation.

Creativity can be usually seen in arts and literature.Most people relate creativity with the fields of art and literature. Originality is considered to be a sufficient condition for creativity, unlike other field where both originality and appropriateness are necessary. Within the different modes of artistic expression, one can postulate a continuum extending from interpretation to innovation. Artistic movement and genres pull practitioners to the interpretation end of the scale, whereas original thinkers strive towards the innovation pole.

In conclusion, creativity is something which should be fresh and original. Creative things can only be produce by creative thinking which is ability of thinking outside of the box. If you want to be a creative person, so start thinking using the right brain because right brain is the creativity thinking while left brain is intelligence thinking. So, this is my understanding about creativity which I learned during my creative studies class and the help of web.

Hola. My name is Arvind Anandhan from Kajang. Now I am currently doing my foundation is Multimedia University Cyberjaya (MMU). I am very excited to be in Foundation in Creative Multimedia. I have plan that in my future, I will become a director, an animator and a producer. I hope my dreams come true. Now I am in second semester after finishing my first semester.
